2017 Special Olympics World Winter Games – Hong Kong Delegation returned with glory from Austria

Dr. Evelyn LAM, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Por Yen Charitable Foundation joined the Special Olympics Hong Kong Delegation in participating the 2017 Special Olympics World Winter Games (SOWWG) in Austria as Deputy Team Manager of the Organizing Committee from 14 to 26 March 2017.

The 6 days World Winter Games ended on 24 March, 2017. The 47 athletes of the Hong Kong Special Olympics gained 12 gold, 14 Silver and 12 Bronze following participation in 4 events at the Special Olympics World Winter Games 2017, including Floor Hockey, Figure Skating, Speed Skating and Snowshoeing. The Hong Kong athletes has showed the world their best in participation and achievement in the World Winter Games.

The 67 members of the Hong Kong Delegation, including 47 Special Olympics athletes and 20 Coaches and Officers has their glorious return to Hong Kong on 26 March, 2017.
