Joint Fund Raising Dinner for IVE (Tsing Yi) Business Administration Scholarships

Por Yen Charitable Foundation (The Foundation) has continuously contributed to the education spectrum to continue the philanthropy of Mr. Lim Por Yen.

The Foundation was honored to partner with Royal Commonwealth Society in Hong Kong for the fund raising event on March 5, 2016 for the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE)(Tsing Yi) in Business Administration Scholarships and the fund raised will be matched with the HKSAR Government's Matching Grant Scheme to support the development of post-secondary education.

It was a successful night that a total of ten scholarships raised for Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Tsing Yi) in Business Administration. In this even the Foundation not only showed the students its support as well as the encouragement to them. The Foundation also gave a message that the students should learn not only to be hard working as a person but also know how to “Helping others to help themselves” as is the spirit of the Foundation.
