Face Masks Donation to Special Olympics HK

Since the Chinese New Year, the novel coronavirus has been raging in Hong Kong. Por Yen Charitable Foundation provides support and encouragement to those being affected and suffered in this difficult time. For facing the coronavirus epidemic, Por Yen Charitable Foundation gives a helping hand to those in need.

Dr. Lam Ho Yi, Director & Chief Executive Officer of Por Yen Charitable Foundation visited the Special Olympics HK’s office in ShaTin on 5 August 2020 for the donation of over 10,000 pieces of masks.

Dr. Lam distributes donated face masks to Special Olympics HK for sending to the teenagers in need. Dr. Lam has kept in close touch with Dr. Allison Wong, National Director of Special Olympics and understands the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on their operation and training schedule.

The athletes were excited as they received the free surgical face masks from Por Yen Charitable Foundation. Let’s overcome the difficult time together!
