Hong Kong International Student Innovative Invention Contest 2018

Organised by the Board of Yan Chai Hospital and Co-organised by affiliated primary and secondary schools of Yan Chai Hospital, the Hong Kong International Student Innovative Invention Contest 2018 Awards Ceremony was held on 15 December 2018 at Cyberport. Founded by Yan Chai Hospital Lim Por Yen Secondary School, the Hong Kong International Student Innovative Invention Contest aimed to encourage creative education. This year a total of 431 teams formed by 720 students participated in the contest, which is a 24.9% increase compared to 345 teams in 2017. The growth showed the contest is extensively supported by parents, teachers and students. There are 20 international teams from different countries and region, including Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Taiwan, Macau, South Korea and America, participated in this year’s Contest.

 

The Honourable Elizabeth Quat, BBS, JP, Founder, Honorary Chairman and Chairman of the Steering Committee of the "Smart City Consortium", and Dr. Winnie Tang, JP, Founder and Honorary Chairman of the "Smart City Consortium" are the guests of Honour of the final contest “Hong Kong International Student Innovative Invention Contest 2018”.

 

Mr. Andrew Wells, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Por Yen Charitable Foundation attended the Hong Kong International Student Innovative Invention Contest 2018 Awards Ceremony to show his support.
